Icom Inc. (Headquarters: Hirano, Osaka, Japan/President: Masataka Harima) announces the release of the VE-PG4, Radio over IP Gateway.

The VE-PG4 is a versatile Radio over IP Gateway linking various radio systems and protocols with LTE and IP networks. It works as general IP backbone converting received audio that can be transmitted to/from other radios. It provides a seamless solution interconnecting various communication systems irrespective of protocols and distance such as IDAS digital radio system, analog radio system, IP phone, LTE transceiver, Wireless LAN transceiver and more. The product also features built-in wireless LAN transceiver controller and voice recording function.
